PET FUNNY FAMILY – Pet services

Preamble

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (CGV) define the terms and conditions applicable to the pet sitting services offered by Pet Funny Family – Pet Services, hereinafter referred to as “the Service Provider.” Any order implies the client’s full and complete adherence to these CGV.

1 – Services Offered

The Service Provider offers the following services:

  • In-home pet sitting.
  • Dog walking.
  • Daily care (feeding, water, litter box cleaning, administering medication, etc.).
  • Transportation service for distances less than 65 km round trip.
  • Additional services (upon request and at an additional cost).
2 – Service Area

The Service Provider operates only within the geographical areas defined and presented on the website. Any request outside this area may be refused or subject to a specific quote.

3 – Booking Conditions
  • All services must be booked at least 7 days in advance.
  • A paid pre-visit will be organized to determine the animal’s needs and logistical details.
  • The booking becomes effective after acceptance of the quote and payment of a 30% deposit of the total service amount.
4 – Rates and Payment
  • Rates are detailed on the website or communicated during the quote preparation.
  • Payment can be made by cash, check, or bank transfer.
  • The service balance is due no later than the day the service begins.
5 – Cancellation and Refunds
  • Any cancellation must be notified in writing (message, email, or letter).
  • In case of cancellation by the client, beyond the legal 14-day withdrawal period, the deposit will not be refunded. Note that the withdrawal period does not apply if the service is performed before the end of the legal period.
  • In case of cancellation by the Service Provider, a refund will be issued.
  • Any service started is due in full.
6 – Service Provider’s Obligations
  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and appropriate care of the entrusted animals.
  • Follow the instructions provided by the client during the pre-visit.
  • Inform the client in case of problems (health, behavior, etc.) and act accordingly.
7 – Client’s Obligations
  • The animal must be identified.
  • Identification documents and health records with veterinarian contact information must be provided to the Service Provider.
  • Provide all necessary information about the animal (health, habits, diet, behavior).
  • Provide necessary supplies (food, medication, toys, litter, etc.).
  • Ensure the animal is in good health and up-to-date with vaccinations.
  • Maintain liability insurance for any damage caused by the animal.
8 – Intellectual Property
  • The client authorizes Pet Funny Family to take photos of the cared-for animals for sharing on the company’s social media. Pet Funny Family cannot be held responsible for fraudulent use of the animal’s photo by a third party.
  • In case of refusal, the client must specify this when drafting the service contract.
9 – Responsibilities
  • The Service Provider cannot be held responsible for illnesses, injuries, or death of the animal occurring during the service, except in cases of proven fault.
  • In case of damage caused by the animal to a third party or property, the client remains fully responsible.
10 – Force majeure

In case of force majeure (weather, illness, family emergency, etc.), the Service Provider reserves the right to postpone or cancel a service.

The client will be informed as soon as possible, and a refund or rescheduling will be offered.

11 – Personal Data Protection

Information collected during services is strictly confidential and intended for the exclusive use of the Service Provider. In accordance with [GDPR or local law], the client has the right to access, modify, and delete their data.

12 – Disputes

In case of dispute and in accordance with current legislation, the parties agree to seek an amicable solution through the Service Provider’s mediator, MEDIAVET: https://mediavet.net .

If no amicable solution is found, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts.

13 – Acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions

By booking a service, the customer declares that they have read and unreservedly accept these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
